Answer: The ramifications of a global secular government would include the annihilation of religion. And that's not just Christianity, it includes all religions. Or at least this government would try to destroy religion. As for the success of this goal, well thats pretty far up in the air. However, that is irrelevant. The real matter is how they will go about this. Will they try diplomacy or skip straight to violence? How do they expect to rule without any sort of religion or belief system to hold everyone together? These are the questions that scare me.
